What is Support at Home?
The Support at Home program is the Australian Government's flagship home care program for older Australians. It replaces the previous Home Care Packages and CHSP programs from 2025 onward.
Who is Eligible?
You may be eligible if you are:
- 65 years or older (50+ for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people)
- An Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Assessed as needing support at home
Step-by-Step Application
- Call My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 to register
- Assessment — a trained assessor will visit your home
- Care Plan — you'll receive a personalised plan
- Choose Your Provider — you can choose a registered provider like Viangelic
- Start Services — begin receiving support
