FAQ
Transport Assistance — Common Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most often about this service.
Yes. We provide transport to medical appointments, therapy sessions, social activities, community events, work, education, and other destinations. Safe, punctual, and friendly transport is our commitment.
We have accessible vehicle options available for participants who use wheelchairs or mobility aids. Please let us know your specific access requirements when booking so we can assign the right vehicle.
NDIS transport funding can come from a dedicated Transport budget in your plan, or as part of your Core Supports if transport is needed to access a funded activity. Your plan may include a set daily or weekly transport allowance, or funding for specific trip costs.
Yes. For participants who need assistance beyond the vehicle trip — such as help getting to and from the vehicle, communicating at the destination, or managing anxiety about travel — a support worker can accompany you as part of your support package.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian Government program that funds supports and services for people with a permanent and significant disability. Once approved, you receive an individual plan with funding allocated across three budget categories: Core, Capacity Building, and Capital Supports. You choose how and with whom you use your funding.
To be eligible you generally need to be under 65 years of age, an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or Protected Special Category Visa holder, and have a permanent disability that significantly affects your daily life. You can check eligibility at ndis.gov.au or call us — our team will help you understand your options at no cost.
No. Our initial consultation is completely free and no-obligation. We'll discuss your goals, explain our services, and help you understand how your NDIS funding can be used — before you commit to anything.
