Getting Started
New to the NDIS or to Viangelic? Start here.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian Government program that funds supports and services for people with a permanent and significant disability. Once approved, you receive an individual plan with funding allocated across three budget categories: Core, Capacity Building, and Capital Supports. You choose how and with whom you use your funding.
To be eligible you generally need to be under 65 years of age, an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or Protected Special Category Visa holder, and have a permanent disability that significantly affects your daily life. You can check eligibility at ndis.gov.au or call us — our team will help you understand your options at no cost.
No. Our initial consultation is completely free and no-obligation. We'll discuss your goals, explain our services, and help you understand how your NDIS funding can be used — before you commit to anything.
We currently operate across Melbourne (Sunshine North and Noble Park offices, covering Western and South Eastern suburbs) and Sydney (Cabramatta West, covering South Western Sydney). Contact us to confirm service availability in your specific suburb.
Yes. Viangelic was built with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities in mind. We have Vietnamese-speaking support workers and coordinators who can communicate with you and your family in Vietnamese, removing language barriers from your support experience.
Absolutely. You have the right to choose and change your provider at any time. We will guide you through the transition process — including reviewing your current service agreements and helping you notify your previous provider — so the changeover is smooth and stress-free.
Most participants can begin services within 1–2 weeks of their initial consultation, depending on their NDIS plan status and the services needed. We work efficiently to set up your service agreement and support roster so you get help as quickly as possible.
Our first meeting is a friendly, relaxed conversation — in person, by phone, or video call. We'll listen to your goals, review your NDIS plan (if you already have one), explain which of our services are right for you, and answer all your questions. There's no pressure to sign anything at this stage.

NDIS Funding
How your funding works and how we bill the NDIS.
We handle the billing directly with the NDIS on your behalf — you don't need to pay out of pocket. Depending on your plan management type, we either claim directly from the NDIA (Agency Managed), through your Plan Manager, or you reimburse us after payment (Self Managed). We'll explain which applies to you at our first meeting.
Agency Managed means the NDIA controls your funding and pays providers directly. Plan Managed means a Plan Manager (like a financial intermediary) handles payments on your behalf, giving you more provider choice. Self Managed means you control and pay for your own supports, then claim reimbursement from the NDIA — giving you the most flexibility.
If you're concerned about running low on funds, contact us or your Support Coordinator immediately. We can help you review your spending, request an unscheduled plan review with the NDIA if your needs have changed, and prioritise your most important supports.
Yes. Our Support Coordinators are experienced in helping participants prepare for plan meetings, gather supporting evidence, and advocate for the right level of funding. We can accompany you to planning meetings or review your plan to ensure it reflects your actual needs.

Our Services
Questions about choosing and combining services.
Start by booking a free consultation with our team. We'll review your goals, your NDIS plan (if you have one), and your day-to-day challenges to recommend the right combination of supports. There's no commitment required.
Yes. Many of our participants use several services — for example, combining daily living support with community access, or support coordination with personal care. We coordinate everything in-house to ensure your services work together seamlessly.
We review your supports regularly and adapt to your changing needs. If your situation changes significantly, we can help you request an unscheduled NDIS plan review to update your funding. Flexibility is at the core of how we work.
Yes. Viangelic is a fully registered NDIS provider, meeting the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission's rigorous standards. This means Agency Managed participants (as well as Plan Managed and Self Managed) can use our services.
Our key points of difference are: Vietnamese-language capability (rare among NDIS providers), offices in both Melbourne and Sydney, a genuine commitment to culturally safe support, and a small, close-knit team that treats every participant as an individual — not a case number.
Yes. Alongside our NDIS services, Viangelic also supports older Australians through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and the Support at Home program. Contact us to discuss aged care options.
